Should? Depends on the perspective.
Coming from the copyright holders perspective, one would say no, you shouldn't download songs illegally as it doesn't give the artists or the recording companies their pay that they are entitled to upon creating and releasing the material.
To the artists perspective, yes, you should, because it gets artistic material and knowledge of an artists existence.
To the listeners perspective, yes, as it lets you build more music for less money and less effort, allowing one to enjoy a larger selection of music.
Personally, I believe that one should download songs illegally, because although it kills the music industry, it saves music. It gets large pop acts out of the way to make room for independent artists and small, talented groups - who's work I buy.
Illegally, yes
If you knowingly accept property that was acquired illegally, that makes you an accessory to the crime.
Because you're not paying for them. They cost money.
Yes, they are physically able to do so.
When it comes to downloading songs, words "legally" and "free" don't go together. Either pay for it or download it illegally. Or don't download it at all.
Free? The only "free" way is to illegally download it via Limewire etc...
copy the songs from limewire to a folder on your desktop then delete the songs from limewire :)
Unless you are paying, you do it illegally. ================== A real answer is search for a song and double click on the one you want
After download the songs back, you should find a program to convert the files.
Downloading Music LegallyIt's not possible to legally download music to your MP3 player for free without doing so illegally. You should search for a site where you can download songs legally by paying for them. There are songs available for honest and free downloading. I attached a link to such a site. These are not usually the original singers though or name artists. They are individuals trying to get a break in the industry.
Downloading songs from LimeWire is illegal. But, technically LimeWire is not illegal because they are not responsible if you choose to download the file. Recently, with the upgrade to "iTunes Plus", all songs on itunes can be copied about seven times without violating the law. So here's your choice: risk being caught downloading songs illegally, or buy the songs for about a dollar ($1.29 if it is popular) from the itunes store.
Illegally you can.
