definitely go with the switchblade amazing for downhill. its low to the ground so its very stable and the 1" drop and w concave locks your feet in for slides.
unless you really want landyachtz, get a sector 9 pintail. Anyways, you need to know what kind of board you want. I assume your talking about longboard skateboards? If you want to just cruise round the neighborhood...get to mates houses and stuff, you should probably get a board with soft wheels. like 75A or 78A. You should also have a reasonably small board for cruising. Like 30-40 inches. or, if you're more the downhill trick type guy, get a longer board. like 40-50 inches. the longer the board, the easier it is to keep your balance at high speeds. but also, the longer the board, the less you can carve and maneuver. if you want to try some sliding and stuff but still be able to carve get hard wheels around 80A-87A. But if you want to do some extreme sliding get even harder wheels. like 96A or 101A. But be aware that if you have really hard wheels you'll pretty much slide out round a corner. or if you don't want to slide but still want to do downhill, get 78A. also there are boards made specifically for downhill like dropthrough's. Have a think about it.
There are many different switchblade brands. However, it is not the brand, but the person wielding it that is important. Street fights should be avoided if at all possible.
If you don't want to spend to must money on a complete I suggesed a Krown or if you don't mind spending $150 or more get a Loaded or Landyachtz. Krowns our good quality though, but Loaded and Landyachtz are just better. It all depends on what you want. I have a Krown a it work perfect for my weight and size.Or you can go to skateboom.com they have really cheap but good quality boards.
right
In a downhill area, you should always park with the front wheels toward the curb. The theory is that if the brakes malfunction, the car will move towards the curb and stop, instead of going downhill, gathering speed and causing an accident.
If you have something that is used, then the first thing you should do is post it on a site such as Craigslist. This site allows people, such as yourself, to buy/sell an item locally. A link is posted below.
It depends if you are sliding a lot but you should because it gives more protection.
turn wheels to curb
reverse and set the parking brake.
Turned towards curb.
It will if the hill is steep enough
Turn your wheels to the right, downhill or uphill, if there is no curb.
