I can't really answer how many have survived however, the world Health Organization (WHO) states that child obesity is completely preventable, so all children can survive obesity with the right approach to their diet.Did you know that more people world wide die from overweight (obesity) than from underweight (malnourished) - WHO statistics.

That's like saying "what are the names of some people who are not against hepatitis/anorexia/heroine use". Obesity is a medical condition which has extremely serious health risks. It causes some very debilitating, very serious diseases. Just like anorexia, just like drug addiction or even smoking. Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death in this country, and in monetary terms, it also takes a huge chunk out of the health budget that could be saved for other uses. Obesity is also THE leading cause of preventable death in the world. Its not a matter of "obesity" vs the world, of being "against" obesity. Its a matter of obesity being a huge health risk and trying to prevent unnecessary harm as much as possible. the vast, vast majority of obese people have serious health complications. I think the question is "what are the names of some people who are pro normal, realistic weight models" and by that I mean unbiased, unglamourised, non-media influenced role models. - I'd say look at top athletes, anti-anorexia campaigns, people who promote a positive and healthy self image.

Anorexia is a psychological condition - not a disease caused by a pathogen !
