Mesosphere
Its a layer in the mesosphere, called the mesopause. This is just before the thermosphere. The mesopause can be around -100°C (-146°F) in temperature and is located at altitudes between 85 and 100 km.
The top of the Mesosphere is the coldest area, just before we go into the next layer called the Thermosphere. At the top of the Mesosphere, at 50 miles (260,000 feet) up, the temperature is around -85'C (-120'F). This area is known as the mesopause.
The coldest layer of earth's atmosphere is the Mesosphere. This is the top layer of the Mesosphere.

MESOSPHERE is the coldest layer of the atmosphere.
The mesosphere is the layer of the atmosphere that exists between the stratosphere and the thermosphere. It contains the coldest parts of the Earth's atmosphere, reaching temperature depths of -90°C.
