Yes! She is my role model! She is a role model because she overcame a difficult childhood and worked extremely hard to carve a career despite having feelings of low self-worth her whole life. She sexually liberated women by breaking down the Madonna/Whore complex embedded in 50's society by making it acceptable to exploit one's sexuality, she artistically liberated women by being the first female film star to set up her own production company, she supported equal rights in a non-progressive time, and was determined to improve herself and did so vastly throughout her career.
