Gilda was married twice. She wed G.E. Smith in 1980, then divorced him two years later to pursue her Hanky Pankyco-star, Gene Wilder (whom, according to her autobiography, she fell in love with pretty much instantly!). Having already been married and divorced twice by that point, Wilder was initially hesitant about jumping into another relationship. But Radner ultimately won his heart, and they married on September 18th, 1984. Sadly, they had less than five years together as husband and wife before ovarian cancer claimed Gilda's life on May 20th, 1989.
Assuming you're asking what stage Gilda's cancer was at when it was diagnosed, the answer is stage IV (4)...the worst possible stage. She died on May 20th, 1989.
Gilda Radner created Baba Wawa.
She had two nephews by marriage (her husband Gene Wilder's sister's sons- one of whom is director, producer, and screenwriter Jordan Walker-Pearlman). As for biological ones, that's not publically known, to my knowledge (Gilda DID have one brother, Michael, but he seems to keep his life pretty private).
The female comedienne from the 80s known for her impression of George Burns talking to Gracie Allen in Heaven is Gilda Radner. She performed this sketch on "Saturday Night Live," showcasing her talent for character work and impersonation. Radner's comedic style and ability to capture the essence of iconic figures made her a beloved figure in comedy during that era.
