Theres not really in an explaination for the Germans but the majority responsibilty for the Holocaust was by Adolf Hitler himself. He planned this idea and wanted all the people he didnt except to be gone but the Germans were with him because they wanted more land like he planned he to.

the point is that the Germans were not really responsible for the cause of the death camps but were with Hitler

i think its because they went along with what Hitler believed was right a.k.a the perfect German who was robust, blond hair,blue eyes even though Hitler was not that himself.
