Actually, they're not completely accurate. Not a pair of jungle boots to be seen, anywhere, and this is pretty glaring to those of us who know. And only Army or European body armor, I have studied the film and never seen Marine Body Armor, which is, of course, an inaccuracy. Compare pics of actual street fighting in Hue and you shall see. And also, you can see several helmet covers (in brown ERDL) which were not introduced until 1969! Most notably, sitting on the table as Joker's platoon leader reassigns him after Tet.
