AnswersThere is the mention of two women with wings in Zechariah chapter 5 verse 9. Aside from "wings," there is nothing to draw the conclusion that these two are in fact angels and perhaps not just spirits.

This one mention aside, every single other mention Biblically cites angels as sons of God.

One can find the countless verses in scripture in which every angel is mentioned as such and never something else. There are too many chapters to list, but if you are curious enough, pick up the Book and have a read for yourself.

No. Zech 5:5-9 speaks of a woman & an ephah & says this is wickedness & out of that came 2 women. It's not 2 holy angels.

Would you believe that angels are neither male nor female? It's true, although angels are commonly portrayed as males, they were not truly males. Angels do not have the essential body part. I think that they were often refered to as male because they look the most like males.

AnswerNo, there are no female angels. All the angels were created are all referred to as ' ...the son's of God'.

Genesis 6:2=

That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they [were] fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.

AnswerAll angels are neuter because there is no specific Bible word for "male angel" or "female angel" , but by tradition they are all called as males. Matt 22 (v.29) Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. Matt 22 (v.30) For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.""

There is a Hebrew angel named Lailah who's job is to oversee unborn souls of babies and bring them to earth.

She watches over the Treasury of Souls in heaven. Once a soul is chosen, she brings it down to earth and plants it as a seed in the mother's womb. There she proceeds to tell the soul the secrets of the world: the languages of the animals and of the wind plus the history of that soul, it's past and future. When the time comes to lead the child into the world, she touches the baby's upper lip, creating an indention, as a reminder to keep this knowledge a secret.

In Jewish tradition that indentation on your upper lip is called a Lailah spot. When you die this same angel leads you into the after life.

In the Christian book of Revelations there is a story in which this angel makes a very important appearance. That Treasury of Souls which Lailah guards will one day run empty. Lailah stands before the throne of God and delivers this key announcement: "The Room is Empty." One then is the seventh seal opened and there is a silence in heaven for the space of half an hour. It's silent because the room is empty of souls.

Here's another fun fact, spell Lailah backward and what to do you get? Halial, the Hebrew word for "Praise." This is not a coincidence, since the Jewish scholars were fond of putting secret codes and hidden messages into their texts. (Other examples of Hebrew names that are ciphers would be Noah spelled backward in Hebrew is Chen which means 'Grace' and Moses backward is HaShem, meaning 'The Name' and the way many Jews refer to G-d.) Halial is the root of the word Hallelujah.

Every time you say Hallelujah the angel Lailah's name is hidden there.

Heaven is a construct of man, there is no God, and therefore no heaven, or hell for that matter.

Traditionally, angels are neither male nor female, but something else entirely. They are simply "angels."

Answer:

Angels are "spirit beings."

"...of the angels He saith, Who maketh His angels spirits, and His ministers a flame of fire." (Heb.1:7)

"...Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?" (verse 14)

Angels are "sexless" and do not reproduce.

"...in the resurrection they (Jesus, speaking of resurrected men) neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are AS THE ANGELS OF GOD IN HEAVEN." (Matt.22:30)

Yet, throughout The Bible, when angels appeared among men... they usually appeared as "men."

"And there came two angels to Sodom... but before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom... called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are THE MEN which came in to thee this night..." (Gen.19:1-5).

Angels are considered genderless. However, they are specifically referred to as masculine in Genesis 6:4:

The Nephilim were on the earth in those days-and also afterward-when the sons of God went to the daughters of humans and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.

Yes, -Satan. (Matthew 4:10/Ezekiel 28:13-15) Though his original name is never given in the Bible, this term "satan", means 'opposer'.

-Gabriel (Luke 1:26) appeared to Daniel(Daniel 8:1,15-26)(Daniel 9:1,20-27) and later to Zechariah and then to Mary (Luke 1:11-20 + 26-38)

-Michael, the Archangel (or chief angel)(Daniel 10:13+21; Daniel 12:1; Jude 9; Revelation 12:7)

In addition, "angels" (which means 'messenger'), in general, are "mentioned" hundreds of times throughout the scriptures, though NOT by name. (A few examples: Exodus 3:2, Exodus 14:19, Numbers 20:16, Judges 2:1+4, 2 Samuel 24:16, 17, 1 Kings 19:5-7, 2 Kings 1:3, Matthew 1:20, Mark 1:13, Mark 13:27, Acts 5:19, and many more...).

No. angels are considered spirit beings or incorporeal, invisible. Angels would not be male or female, though some books of the bible refer to them as sons of God; this derives from the people writing the bible books coming from tribes of male dominance.

Angels are presented as sexless beings devoid of free will and emotion. Of the several types of angels (cherubim, seraphim, and archangels and maybe "powers" and "principalities") most are not human in appearance let alone male or female.

Other than Archangel Michael and Archangel Gabriel, no other indication is given for gender of Archangels. They name cherubim and seraphim as lower ranking angels. Biblical writers do not say the angels' sexes.
