There are no actual words recorded which John spoke as he baptized Christ, only those which he spoke before, these I paraphrase. John said that it should have been Christ who should be baptizing John and not the other way round. He felt that he was not worthy to perform the ceremony.
13Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.
14But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?

re: (in the Holy Scriptures) When Jesus was about 30 years old, He came from Nazareth to the river Jordan and was baptized by John the Baptist (see Matthew 3:13; Mark 1:9; Luke 3:23)
At Matthew 3:13-15 John says to Jesus: "... "I need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?"(NIV)
("John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me"(KJV))
Jesus didn't baptize people:
Joh 4:1 The Pharisees heard that Jesus was winning and baptizing more disciples than John.
Joh 4:2 (Actually, Jesus himself did not baptize anyone; only his disciples did.)
When John's disciples told him people were going to Jesus, John said
Joh 3:30 He must become more important while I become less important."
You can read the full account of what John the Baptist said in the gospel of John chapter 3.
In reply Jesus said to John: "Let it be, this time, for in that way it is suitable for us to carry out all that is righteous." (Matthew 3:15)
john is much older than jesus. john is the baptizer while jesus is the savior
I would suppose it was John the Baptizer. He introduced Christ Jesus to the people.
Elizabeth's son who was born six months before Jesus is John the Baptist. He is known for baptizing Jesus in the Jordan River and is considered a prophet in Christianity.
John the Baptizer, the cousin of Jesus, prepared the way for Jesus. John's mother was Elizabeth, the virgin Mary's first cousin. Jesus referred to him as the same as Elijah who is prophesied to come before Jesus return the 2nd time to the Jews. For we read in Malachi 4:5 "Look, I am sending you the prophet Elijah before the great and dreadful day of the Lord arrives .
Peter was one of the earliest of Jesus' disciples, being led to Jesus by Andrew, a disciple of John the Baptizer. (Joh 1:35-42)
Jesus' baptism was to show his agreement of John's baptism, and testify that John's baptizing was of God. Also that He himself might receive a testimony both from heaven, and from John, that He was the Son of God and true Messiah, before he entered upon his public ministry.
His mother was Elizabeth, a cousin of Jesus' mother Mary. His father was Zachariah, a temple priest.
John Baptizing Jews is not a name.
John the Baptizer faithfully introduced his disciples to Jesus, also calling him "the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world." (John 1:29)
First, Jesus asked John to baptize him, and John basically said that Jesus should be the one doing the baptizing here. Jesus persisted, so John baptized him, and the Heavens opened up and God said, "he is truly my son" or something to that effect.
St. John did so by Baptizing people.
jesus had the aura about him and john believed in God
