The most common caracteristic of a fish is that it has got gills and not lungs.

However. Some highly evolved and most special fish has got something that work like lungs.

Other characteristica is : tail, fins and being coldblooded.

Some fish have scales. Other fish do not have scales.

Fishes live in the Water. They are cold-blooded vertebrates and they lay eggs. Their bodies are covered with scales.

Some are covered with slimy skin. Fishes breathe through their gills and they have eyes but witout eyelids. The fins are used for swimming and the tails as propeller
