It's a standard set for companies to do better in their business, quality, and service developed by the ISO or International Organization for Standardization. There are over 18,000 International Standards that exists on a variety of purposes and some 1100 new ISO standards are published every year.

ISO standards are set of standards that are accepted and used in any type of business around the world as it is widely accepted by many countries.

If you plan on becoming ISO Certified, only ISO can conduct the actual audit and give you the actual certification stating that your business are able to comply with the standards that ISO have [depends on what standard did you applied your business for]

For those who are not that very familiar with the ISO standard they are applying for and looking for ways to implement it, a number of online providers are available online which conducts training and classes for business teams to be able to study and implement the specific standard they need. Though again, this training providers DO NOT give out the actual certification - the certification they provide are only a proof that your business or business team were able to complete their courses, but it is not an assurance that you will be ISO Certified.
