Actually, I was born in Bulgaria. For Christmas, my family would make an odd number of foods, and then we would sit and eat. Also, when there is a special holiday, we would dance our national dance, the Horo, (ho-rrrrro), the r a hard sound. then, there is Lazarus. In Lazarus, it is a girl's thing, so all girls would dress up in Bulgaria's traditional dresses, the Newse, with a hard e at the end. Afterwards, all the girls would basically get to go trick-or- treating, except they have to sing a song, and they get eggs instead of candies. Bulgaria does not celebrate Halloween, neither Valentines Day.

Yes many people may often get confused that Bulgaria is situated in Russia as the Russian and Bulgarian Emmbasseys are the same although the european country of bulgaria previously known as the republic of bulgaria is no longer in bulgaria as of 1968 when bulgaria became free from russia, there is still the village of bulgaria in russia which was named after Bulgaria itself. So the answer is yes there is a place in russia called bulgaria. Hope this helps.
