To start, 1 answer to this question is, plant cells have something called cell walls and animal cells do not. It is an extra protective layer for the cell.
Also there is something called a cell membrane. It is also a protective layer for the cell, but the difference is that it actually controls what goes in and and out of the cell.
The Nucleus, or the brain of the cell, powers the whole cell, without it the cell will die.
Another organelle (Things inside cells) is the Golgi bodie. Spelled very strange, but it is like a mail room. It sends everything where it needs to go.
Before I get any deeper into that I have to explain the Endoplasmic Reticulum. Pronounced (Endo-plas-mic Ra-tic-u-lum). It sends everything where it needs to go through a tube. It mostly circles around the nucleus. It sends things mostly from the nucleus to the Golgi bodie then the Golgi bodie sends it to the direct organelle needed to be sent too.
Another thing inside the cell is the mitochondria. There are many of them and they work together and create energy for the cell so it can move and function.
Another thing like the mitochondria is ribosomes. These tiny organelles inside the cell help produce protein for the cell. There are many more organelles to learn about on top of this. And one little thing to say. I am only 12 years-old. No Wikipedia no anything. Just what I learned and remember.
plant cells have a cell wall surrounding the cell membrane for protection and rigidity, animal cells don't have a cell wall. plant cells have larger vacuoles than animal cells. animal cells have centrioles to aid in cell division, plant cells do not. plant cells have chloroplasts (used in photosynthesis) and chlorophyll (the green pigment), animal cells do not have either of those.
helloThe famous names of some plant cells aremeristamparenchymaxylemphelomsclerenchymaplus plant cells are real wankers like you xx
i think that it was virchow? we learned it in science earlier this year!
The two basic types of cells , I belive, are plant and animal cells.
The centrioles are the cell organelle that are found in animal cells but not in plant cells.
facts on cartilage cells
dont have 5 but, they have a cell wall unlike animal cells, they have a nuceus, and i cant remember the other parts they contain chlorophyl
Plant cells, not animal cells.
Plant cells.
Plant cells do not have centrioles, but animal cells do.
All plant cells are eukaryotic cells
they are cells in a plant.
Plant Cells
Animal cells have lysosomes, plant cells don't. Plant cells have a cell wall made out of cellulose, animal cells don't. Animal cells have many small vacuoles, plant cells have one large vacuole. Plant cells have chloroplasts and chlorophyll, animal cells don't. Animal cells have centrioles, plant cells don't.
Yes, all plant cells have chloroplasts. Plant cells are the only cells that have chloroplasts, actually. No- Most Cells of Plant Roots do not!
Yes, they are present in plant cells. There are less in plant cells than in animal cells.
Animal cells, not plant cells.
