I'm not sure if Christianity is related to Egyptian practices. You may be thinking more like Hindu or the animal worshipping religion. They are connected in the sense that they all have multiple Gods that do different things. The animal worshipping religion is most likely closest to Egyptian practices.

I'm not an expert on either of those, but they're both polytheistic and have different gods and goddesses representing different parts of nature and character qualities
