Doesn't matter what interests me - write what YOU are interested in! Otherwise you're going to get bored before you're even halfway through. Professional authors know that you can't try to write what's popular now because it'll be over before the book gets published. The only thing you can do is write something you like - and others who like that same thing will read it.
