The one your boyfriend will be afraid of is movies like Dora and Barney. But seriously any scary movie that you think IS VERY VERY scary will be scary enough for him. And if the movie is scary than its good (it will give him a reason to put his arm around you).

To give the poor thing a preview of what her life will be like in the future should she decide to marry him. Scary movies are good preparation.
I was young when the film came out in 2008 so this might not apply to now days. But I found Dead Set absolutly terrifying. This was one of those films that just doesnt get out of your head. It gave me nightmares for months and I just re-watched a few scenes and it gave me shivers. From the dark setting to the atmosphere, it was all genius and will give you frights. I dont know about you but zombies that run are far more terrifying to slow ones. Just the feeling of being chased by one of those monsters is enough to give you nightmares. If your looking for a scary zombie film with a good story then this is the film for you. The only bad side is the acting is not the best. Other than that great film 9/10.
Well, it's a really terrible movie: you know, stupid plot, no suspense, bad acting. It's really, really violent, but since there's no suspense whatsoever, it's not scary. A truly scary movie gives you a sense of dread -- the fear of what's going to come next. Horror movies that are nothing but graphic violence simply shock and disgust you. Which is fun sometimes...but not scary.Even though it's not a scary movie, it features bloody torture scenes, so I definitely would not show it to a young child. But I think a 13 year-old would be mature enough to handle it. When you're a little kid, you can be really frightened by really bad horror movies: like, when I was 8, I saw Prom Night 2 on TV, and I had to sleep with the lights on for months. Prom Night 2 is NOT a scary movie. It's even stupider than the Dentist. But it can still give a little kid nightmares. By 13, you're better equipped to deal with bad horror movies, since your imagination isn't running completely wild anymore, the way it does when you're really young.
you go to scary stories for beginners and find stories that wont give you nightmares. Good luck i get nightmares 2:)
i don't like scary movies, they scare me too much
I understand that Halloween is all about a scary costume, but that evil, hideous mask will give us all nightmares.
Showing violent movies to be honest and can even be helpful Violent movies can be dangerous because it could make you think evil thoughts and it might give you nightmares.

no. Nightmares can't give you fevers
Children can be scared of monsters, the dark, ghosts, loud noises, or being separated from their loved ones. Nightmares in children can be triggered by stress, anxiety, or exposure to frightening media such as movies or stories. It's important for parents to reassure their children and create a calming bedtime routine to help reduce fears and avoid nightmares.
