There are several time saving tips you can use to make the transition into college a lot smoother. Once you arrive on campus, find a map to take to your room. You can study this before classes begin so you know where to go for classes and other activities. Once those classes start, buy an organizational planner. Using this, you can write down everything from classroom assignments, sport or music practice, and even when and where the weekend party is. This will help you immensely because when events in your life are written down, you are less likely to forget important things. One more tip: Don't procrastinate! If you have a big test to study for, don't wait until the night before to cram. (That never works, by the way) Instead, try studying for twenty minutes each day the week leading up to the test. That way, you're prepared for the exam and still have time to spend doing the fun stuff!
