What are some tips about writing a novel or story if you have never written a story before but you want to learn how?

One of the best ways to start is to just write down all of your ideas about the story. You don't need to worry about spelling or grammar at first, because you are just doing a brain-dump and those things distract you from telling the story.
After you get it all out, then you can go back and add parts, or move parts around, and you can have someone help you with your grammar and spelling. But the first step is always just to write down the story... you could write it as an outline and then add detail, or you could just tell the story the best way you can.

∙ 7y agoAsk some one you know (an adult) to listen to your story and have them write it down for you. You can find programs on line that will correct grammar and spelling for you. The ask some one you look up to and have him tell you what he thinks.

∙ 6y agoAnother good tip is to read - read as much as you can because then you will see how other writers do things and that will help you to be a better writer. Good writers always have a pile of books to read on their bedside tables!
