The dinosaur commonly known as the Brontosaurus is actually the Apatosaurus. It lived 150 million years ago during the late Jurassic Period and fossils have been discovered in parts of the USA. Its predators may have included the Allosaurus, which possibly looked similar to the Tyrannosaurus Rex from the later Cretaceous Period.
The previous responder said: "probably large therapods.(ie.trex, allosaurus, spinosaurus, etc)"
Actually both T-Rex and Spinosaurus were Cretaceous period dinosaurs. Allosaurus and Dilophosaurus were both Jurassic period dinosaurs however, the Allosaurus came in the late Jurassic period and Dilophosaurus came in the early Jurassic period. Most paleontologists believe that Dilophosaurus was the most dominant predator within it's ecosystem and hunted in packs through ambushing prey much like Velociraptors are believed to have done. This ambush tactic would have overcome the weakness in their jaw caused by poor maxillary fusion. Dilophosaurus is also believed to have been a scavenger.
A full grown Brachiosaurus would have no predators, because of its great size. However babies and juveniles would have been the perfect prey for a pack of Allosaurus.
Apatosaurus had no natural predators with except Allosaurus witch preyed upon the young or sick individuals
Nothing was stupid enough to attack s full grown Brachiosaurus, but very young, very old, and sick and weak Brachiosaurus were probably hunted by Allosaurus and Saurophaganax.
nothing, they were so large nothing was large enough to hunt it.
yes
What dinosaur use to eat Dilophosaurus dinosaurs
Dilophosaurus did not spit. Jurassic Park may have shown that but Jurassic Park's Dilophosaurus was completely false. When Dilophosaurus was discovered he was 20 feet long and he did not have a frill. There is no proof that he spit poison. Dilophosaurus was probably warm blooded and may have weighed 1,000 pounds.
no
Dilophosaurus is as tall as you! (Except if you are still alive as Robert Wadlow!)
dilophosaurus
dilophosaurus
Fossils
Yes, all dinosaurs do
Allosaurus, Ornitholestes, Dilophosaurus
It's never revealed how many Dilophosaurus were in the film version, but there was definatley more than one, because on the tour it talks about a 'herd' of Dilophosaurus.
Okey. Lets size 'em up. Dilophosaurus and Ceratosaurus were both 23 feet long, but cerato out-wieghed its rival by 1,000 pounds. Dilophosaurus was faster and smater, but Ceratosaurus was stronger and had much larger teeth and jaws. So who would come ontop? In my opinion, Ceratosaurus.
Allosaurus, Ornitholestes, Dilophosaurus
