You can fall off the bike, you can ride into things, pedestrians, other riders, you can be ridden into by other riders, you can get hit (and run over) by a car. Longish rides in hot weather can leave you dehydrated and you can get sunburn. If you begin to ride too hard too fast you can get overexertion issues, particularly if your bike doesn't quite fit you.
Oh, and you can fall in love with the sport, spend ridiculous amounts of money on gear, and become quite boring for all but other cyclists to talk to.
