PCR allows amplification of DNA for a specific gene, after too many cycles of PCR the result will reach saturation, basically meaning all of the DNA has been amplified.

Conventional PCR will basically tell you whether or not a gene is expressed in your sample. This can be done semi-quantitavely if the PCR is performed for a low number of cycles, ie it will tell you whether one sample expresses more of your gene of interest than another sample. The results are seen by separating the PCR products by agarose gel/ethidium bromide electrophoresis.

Real-time PCR will record exactly what cycle of PCR a detectable level of amplified product became detectable, giving a far more accurately quantifiable estimation of gene expression.

Real time PCR is quantitative while conventional PCR is qualitative.

We cannot quantitate the product in case of normal PCR which is possible with real time PCR.

Yes, real time pcr is better because it collects information at the time when there is exponential growth, is easier to detect than regular pcr, and does not require processing afterwards.

Differences between time study and motion study in scientific management?

The main points of differences are:(1)Motion Study involves the study of motions on an operation while the time study notes the time involved in carrying out each element of operation.(2)The main aim of Motion Study is to reduce wastage of time and materials scraping the unnecessary movements whereas the time study aims at fixing the standard time for carrying out a job.(3)Time study is not suitable for workers where quality is prime consideration. Motion study is suitable for all types of jobs.

What are conventional currents?

"Conventional electrical currents" are thought of as moving from the Positive pole of a supply to the Negative. Physically this is not what happens, but by the time they figured it out, there was so much literature that they decided to keep it as a convention--since for most purposes it simply does not matter. The electrons actually sneak around the other way--from negative to positive.

What are some differences between comparative investigations and experimental investigations?

Comparative is when u are comparing two things and some key words are compare and contrast where as experimental is when a fair test is designed and u are changing many things but only one at a time

Biologists use molecular clocks to try to measure?

Generally, a molecular clock is used to describe the rate of molecular change over time that tells you when two species, or taxa, have diverged.

What are the differences between conventional and non conventional sources of energy?

Conventional sources of energy have been in use for a long time that usually cause pollution and are exhaustible. Non-conventional sources, meanwhile, are recent sources of energy that are inexhaustible and pollution-free.

How convert conveniotional energy into non conventional energy?

You don't. There is no difference in the type of energy, between the "conventional" and "non-conventional" types. What makes energy conventional or non-conventional is the SOURCE - a conventional source being one that has been used for a long time.

Which motion determines the time differences between FL and CA?

Motion does not determine time differences. They are determined by time zones. The difference between FL and CA is 3 hours.
