The Red Badge of Courage never won an award as a film. In the 1951 film versionis was nominated for a BAFTA Award for Best Film from Any Source, but it did not win. Then in 1974 the made for television version was also nominated by the American Cinema Editors for Best Editing of a Television Special. It also did not win.
