Butterflies are arthropods belonging to the order lepidoptera. They use an appendage called a proboscis to feed on the nectar from flowers.
Dragonflies tend to feed mostly on mosquuitoes and midges, although they will also eat other small insects such asfliees, bees and butterflies. They capture their prey while flying, by clasping them in their spike studded legs. The prey can not escape by the normal means of diving away, as the dragonfly always attacks from below.
Butterflies taste with their feet and suck the nectar with their probiscis.
