Circe was a goddess of magic. So she had every man who came to her island into an animal. Like in the odyssey she would turn some of Odysseus's men into swines(pigs) But one of the men were suspicious so he came back to the ship to the men who stayed back to guard the ship including Odysseus. So Odysseus came to convince circe to let them go and turn them back to men. And she did after s=he slept with her.
