Go to DHR, do not go back to the courts. DHR can set you up with the assistance you need, If he works and pays tax, draws unemployment, or SSDI they will get your money for you at little cost to you, like $25 bucks. They have all government computer info and other investigative means nation wide at their desktop. Child support can be garnished from any means with one exception ,that being SSI payments.
AnswerIn many states you must go through the courts. Visit the court that issued the child support order and inquire about your next step.
yes
Not much you can do as the child but your mom can go to court and report him for not paying child support assuming there is a court order for it. The court have several ways to get someone to pay their child support.
Deadbeat Dad and Deadbeat Mom are commonly used to refer to men and women who have fathered or mothered a child and intentionally fail to pay child support "ordered" by a family law court or statutory agency such as the Child Support Agency.
I don't believe there is a sol on child support arrears in Florida. They can hound the "beat dead Dad" all the way to the grave. Even if he was ordered to pay child support to the woman who molested him as a child and got pregnant, while they allow deadbeat moms free reign.
The term is rather broadly use when only 11% of those owing is due to refusal. see link
try not being a dead beat dad and support the children you helped create, stupid bastards like you deserve to be raped on a daily basis
Keep pushing - you have a right to this help. Contact your representative on the county board, the governor, your State legislators, etc.
Perhaps the "mother" or childbearer should stop worrying about 2008 and address 10 years of non-support and denial of a court order to pay child support to all three children. In NJ there is a common phrase called "dead beat dad", this sounds like a clear case of "dead beat mom".
"Dead beat Dads" are usually in default of child support payments which are determined by a state court. If they fail to pay them they are in contempt of court. If they are sent to jail or prison for this they would be headed for a state facility since it is in violation of a state court order, not a federal one. Sending a Dead beat Dad to prison, however, guarantees that those payments will then never be made, and the dead beat receives 3 square meals a day, free lodging, free clothing, free ... everything ... at taxpayers expense. Sending these people to prison is not the answer ... they need to be forced to work somehow.
Honestly, I think the dad SHOULD pay child support even though I don't!!!
If you are a father, you have to pay child support if the court says so. The age of the father does not matter.
Yes.Yes.Yes.Yes.
