Pay attention! Most churches pass out bulletins as you walk into the church, and there is space to take notes in there. Grab a pen, pay attention, and take notes on whatever interests you in the sermon! If you bring a Bible, you can follow along with the scriptures as well. If you are a regular attender, you may want to bring money to put in the offering when the basket is passed around, but this is not required and no one will look down on you if you do not put money in there.

What you can do in a church largely depends on which church it is. Some churches have strict rules about what you can and cannot do in their building or in their services. Of course all churches allow someone to pray, worship, and listen to sermons, but other things vary from church to church.
