You would be killed if you were to try and land on Uranus. It is a giant, poisonous planet that is extremely cold, because it is so far from the Sun. The gravity is strong enough to crush any person or machine that tried to land on Uranus. The only thing a person can do in the vicinity of Uranus is to orbit the planet, or land on a nearby satellite or moon of Uranus. If you try to land the planet, you die and quickly.

Yes! We can dispatch rovers with probes to collect a variety of specimens for remote study, station satellites in orbit around it, and use the light spectrum to observe the planet- just to name a few options.

In fact, the most recent Planetary Science Decadal Survey (published in 2011) recommended that a Uranian orbiter and probe be dispatched somewhere in the 2020-2023 time range, which would require a 13-year cruise-time. Unfortunately, this mission is does not hold as high of a priority rating as future missions to Mars or Jupiter. Keep your ears open, though- August of 2018 has been identified as a favorable launch window.
