Absolutely - I have both programs on my computer and Open Office will happily open MS Works files.
Yes, it is possible to open a MS Works data file with Open Office. MS Works data files are generally stored with a ".was" extension, and they are documents produced by Microsoft Works, an office suite developed and distributed by Microsoft. While MS Works is no longer supported by Microprokey, the file format is still quite common and can be opened using software such as Open Office. Open Office is a free, open-source office suite that is developed and maintained by the Apache Software Foundation. It supports a variety of file formats, including MS Works data files. To open a MS Works data file with Open Office, simply launch the program, click on the "File" menu, select "Open", and choose the file from its location. Open Office will then open the file and display it in its workspace.
Open Office and Microsoft Works.
Just open it as if it was an OpenOffice document. OpenOffice will read MS Works documents quite happily, and you can either save them as OpenOffice or MS Works formats.
Not sure exactly what you're asking. If you mean 'what would be a comparable product to open office' - I'd say Microsoft Works. Open office is a 'suite' of programs (as opposed to a stand-alone single program). Microsoft Works is also a suite.
Of course there are plenty of health administration careers that are being desperately hiring with bonus in harder hit area.
Download Microsoft Office Starter. It's free. It's not the fastest program & you need Internet access each time you open( word, excel...) but it works.
In the career of personal finance there can be jobs from heading the company to being an assistant. There is several job openings currently open for secretaries.
Save the file using the 'save as' function - and select the file type from the drop-down menu.
Nothing. Downloading software does not affect currently existing software, but if "Open Office" automatically sets itself to open .doc (Microsoft Word) files, then the only way to open a file with Microsoft Word after that is either dragging and dropping the file onto the Microsoft Word icon or right-clicking on the file and selecting "open with > Microsoft Word"
Open Office is free...but why?
It depends what free software you want. If you want a free office suite that looks and feels like MS works - try Open Office (google it !)
