Some people have a condition where they have extremely low circulation of blood through their feet, which should be verified by a doctor. Though, numbness can occur in anybody's right foot, but its all because of the lack of circulation of the blood through the right foot.

In general, left or right foot;
For elderly people,swelling on the foot could mean; Rheumatoid Arthritis which is usually common in men than women
For hotspots, people who go on holiday in humid places may get a swollen foot from a mosquito/insect bite.
Numbness on feet could mean you have been inactive for a long period of time and therefore need to walk about and stimulate the blood around your foot as you are not getting enough circulation. It should soon go away after a while.
