∙ 7y agoAn unripe banana is green but ripe bananas are normally yellow; if they are over ripe they are mostly brown with yellow mixed in.
You also get varieties of banana that are red when ripe (green unripe)

Unripe it is a green colour, as it ripens it becomes a deep yellow. Damage to the fruit is visible in areas that are going brown.
