If you are talking about the no air movement at all, then the fan motor or switch is the most likely. An easy check for the fan motor is to disconnect the wires going to the fan and use extra wire and try a direct 12 volt connection to the fan, if it runs then the switch is the problem. Note: Please test the fan with the vehicle off and isolated from other electrical connections, but you do not have to remove the fan from it's housing.
somtimes a mouse moves into the blower motor and makes a nest ?
if it doesn't heat your heater core is most likely clogged and if it doesn't blow at all then the blower is messed up.
Could be low on coolant.
Most common problem is that the blend door is stuck or broken.
my 94 explorer wont blow heat
run a hot wire directly to the blower motor. see if it runs that way.
You don't say the reason for the blower motor replacement. Did it not blow ? If that be the case, and you do have a new blower, check for 12 volts to blower. Could also Abe a malfunctioning blower module. Now if its blowing COLD air, well , replacing the blower moter wont make it blow warm. There could be numerous causes of that problem
My wife had the same problem, no heat when idle and blow cold air.. when driving the heat was fine.. Checked the antifreeze level and it was low.. got it topped off and that has brought the heat back at idle... hope that helps
An air conditioner blows out heat
The problem is with the resistor, about 15.00 bucks from a dealership. It is located behind the glovebox and is mounted with two screws. It is about a five minute fix.
