EX: You want to build a bed from your fathers lumber pile. you already have a bed as does the rest of your family. it would be a waste of time money and resources so why would you do it? Constraints are things that the design of the particular object MUST have and they must be included in the final design. Considerations are things that should be thought about… in the design process and may or may not be included in the final design
Answer Eventually technology will become so advanced and useful that it causes the human race to stop evolving. Thomas Malthus pointed out that during tim…es of famine and poverty population rates go down. Charles Darwin took this idea and created how evolution works, which is that only the fit survive that is only people who have the best genetics live on to reproduce. Because Technology works to fix the hardships of people, the people no longer need to adapt to the problem. Because we don't evolve to be weak or insufficeint there will be no new problems developing. That said it isn't how technology changes to meet the needs of people it is how technology grows so that there are no more needs.
Example: A an engineering company producing bolts for other industries will be given sizes that the bolt must be. It is nearly impossible for every bolt to be exact and theref…ore the designers allow a tolerance, basically a plus size or minus size that the bold can be. In the case of a bolt. The overall length may be 50 millimetres - the size wll allow +/- 0.25 millimetres (quater of a millimetre) This is because the bolt may have to be part of another item and room is an issue. The head of the bolt will be given where the size is measured across the "flats" Most bolts and tightened with a wrench or spanner. This will also have a +/- size allownce. The length of the thread too will have a specific size and again an allownce (tolerance) of +/- X millimetres. The thrards cut (turned) on the bolt will have a length and will conform to a an international size i.e. a gauge size example; 15 mill ISO. This controls the diametre of the bolt threads, the depth of thret and how many threads there re to the millimetre. If these sizes are not achieved then the bolt or bolts are not used. Therefore machine setters who set up the lathes that turn these will take a sample i.e. 1 in 50 and check all dimentions are correct. for the threads size they will use a gauge - This will tell them if the thread is to tight or to slack and then adjustments are made. Depending on the use of the bolt will depend on the rigor of the testing . I.e. Simple everyday use ill allow larger margins where in an aeroplane the tolerences are much smaller and the acceptance rate lower.

In industry a model is usually built first and the final product is developed from it, but in most classrooms, the model is the final product. Test and evaluate the design Testing is ongoing as the construction progresses, but a final test of the entire system or model proves if the project does the job for which it is designed. Look back at the specifications and check the requirements carefully. Ask such questions as: How well does the design function? Does the design look good? Is the product safe to use? Were suitable materials used? How could I have improved on my design? Write a report The report provides evidence of your work in analysis, planning, designing, carrying out the practical work, evaluating, and communicating.
