They then began the return journey to their home in Bethlehem but being warned in a dream about Herod's son and successor, Archelaus, turned aside and travelled to Nazareth in Galilee. In this story, they would not have gone to Jerusalem until Archelaus was also dead, when Jesus would have been at least 11 years old.
