Since the time of Constantine, Christians had gone on pilgrimages to the Holy Land. Even though Moslems had ruled Jerusalem since 638, Christians were still allowed to visit the city. By the 11th century, however, the situation had changed. Just as the number and frequency of pilgrimages to Jerusalem was at new peaks, the Seljuk Turks took over control of Jerusalem and prevented pilgrimages.
they thought they where fat, posh buffoon's.
there were many crusades. i think 5 but the majority of the crusades the Muslims won.
I think they won 4 out of the 8
The Crusaders invaded their country and they were given no choice but to fight. Think about what you would do if you were invaded.
I think you meant who. Who was involved in the crusades were Richard,Edessa, and The 4 nobles

The Crusades led to increased tensions and conflicts between Christians and other groups, particularly Muslims and Jews, due to the violence and religious fervor associated with the campaigns. The Crusades also shaped perceptions and stereotypes that have had lasting impacts on interfaith relations. Additionally, the Crusades fueled religious intolerance and reinforced divisions between different religious communities.

I can only think about one.. and this is... the crusades is a holy war fought between the Christians and the Muslisms for Jerualem.
Because they all wanted Jerusalem and Jerusalem is the holy land so the Muslims and Christians wanted it. so they fighted for it and CHRISTINAS WON IT.
Most of the crusades we think of were wars with Christians on one side and Muslims on the other, so the answer would be Christianity and Islam. There were other crusades, however, with other religious intent. The Albigensian Crusade was one of several against Christian heretics. The Hussite Crusade was against protestants (Catholic vs. Protestant). There were crusades against pagans (Christian vs. pagan), and there were crusades against Mongol hordes (Christian vs. Mongol). There was even one crusade, the Aragonese Crusade, which was really a war between the Pope and the King of Aragon over possession of land.
Muslims do not encourage their children not to like Christians. Christians and Jews are people of the book as mentioned in the Quran and the people closer to Muslims are Christians as mentioned in the Quran. Muslims are allowed to marry Christians and Jews as they are people of the book. It is therefore a misconception on your part to think that Muslims are encouraged not to like Christians!
I think most Muslims are accepting of other religions.
the muslims took over the holy land and the christians were not happy i think?
in my opinion I think that crusades was not any game. But it was fighting over something (like back then how the Muslims has taken the holy city of Jeruaslem and the Christians fought back and said they owned it.)There is a game called Stronghold Crusader.
i think it was about 5 or 6 years
