In high school, I enrolled in a Food Service vocational program. I liked to cook and didn't want to sit in a class room all day. That's all I expected. Taking the class brought me to were I am today. I joined the USAF as a food service specialist because I really enjoyed cooking. After 23 years in the USAF, I became a restaurant manager. Basic culinary arts helped me figure out what I wanted to do in life. Is it a hobby or a Career? I did both. You will get what you want out if it. Good luck.
