Many poor kids from rice farmers in the north east (Isaan) have to work in the rice fields pretty early.
No factories or other places to find work makes many girls go to tourist destinations and many become prostitutes.
I do have a 14 year old son and he isn't much different to other nationalities.
Guess it's also called education.....
