There are 100's of catfish which could be named suckerfish.
I assume you are talking about a pleco of some species though,
And they grow to a size depending on your tank.
A common pleco is known to grow up to two feet in a 12ft fish tank,
but you can put it in a 2ft fish tak with other fish and it may never even get to 12cm
