Apple Sponge Pudding
I have a recipe book from 1965 with a Ben Rhydding pudding from Yorkshire. Stewed fruit is layered with thin slices of 6 sponge cakes (trifle sponges) in a mold. It is then weighted down with a plate and something heavy, left until cold, and turned out. Served with custard or cream. I remember my Grandmother from Nottinghamshire making this when I was a child, and I recall it as was very tasty. I am going to have a try at making it with summer fruits from the freezer. Yummy! Well, I would call it dessert. But either way you say it folks will understand. The proper term is just what it is, Pudding.
yes spongebob is a sponge. Why do you think they would call it spongebob if it wasn't a sponge???

Its the original form of what we now call Christmas pudding
no beacause sponge bob is not real it is a tv show
Yes, it is man made. A natural sponge is a sea creature that looked like what we call a sponge. Although still available, what most people call a sponge is man made of a soft plastic or foam like material.
pudding or vanillepudding.
Sometimes you can, but it is best to always stick to what the recipe calls for.
they call him spongebob because he is a sponge
There is no special name to call a frozen apple. A frozen apple is exactly that.
