Search for a wildlife rehabilitator in your area, and call them. If that fails, call your local veterinarian or humane society. They should know somebody who takes care of wild birds. When you find somebody to take it, take it to their place. You shouldn't feed it unless you are absolutely sure what it eats. DO NOT under ANY circumstances give it water/put it near water. It can drown. You should know that IT IS ILLEGAL TO KEEP A WILD BIRD UNLESS YOU ARE CERTIFIED
Do not touch it. If the mother comes back from hunting for worms or something, she'll smell the human hand on her child, and abandon it at once. It is better to leave the bird, the mother will help it herself.
Birds to do not have a sense of smell, so touching it would not make any difference, if you need to return a chick back to the nest away from danger this is okay. The mother will not abandon the chick.
well if it is a wild bird you can't really do anything for it.............
and if you keep is as a pet do you need it to be able to fly.......???
The best thing to do is to bring the bird to a Veterinarian (Vet). The Vet will know what to do. If not, try bringing the bird to a pet store.
I would think the mom bird teachs the baby bird to fly so the baby bird knows how to fly and take care of the baby the bird will have when it grows up so it can fly and take care of itself and the baby it has if it has one ^____^.
simple when the baby bird is growing it needs some protection but the egg still needs to be soft for the baby bird to brake when its grown
Unless the bird is a bird of prey, such as a baby eagle or hawk, the bird needs grains, not meat-based foods like dog food.
they die
I believe that you look at the bird's head, where the black lines are. The more lines, the younger the bird.
You should not do this - but the mother will continue to look after the remaining birds.
after the baby comes out of the egg it takes about 3-4 weeks. and about a month old it should look like a big bird. :)
the baby bird is called nestling
well if that baby bird is your pet and it can nearly fly,....... no. Trust me i have a baby bird for a pet.
A baby wax eye bird usually will get nourishment from the mother if they are left alone. However, a bird with injuries may require the assistance of a veterinarian.
they become migits and when they turn to bird their feather get bigger
No, a baby bird cant, but if it is crushed it can.
The baby bird eats it. It's important fo baby birds to get nutrients, and the yolk contains the things a baby bird needs to grow proplerly.
At birth, a baby has approximately 300 bones. It depends on the baby.
I would think the mom bird teachs the baby bird to fly so the baby bird knows how to fly and take care of the baby the bird will have when it grows up so it can fly and take care of itself and the baby it has if it has one ^____^.
Only if you get one from a pet store can you keep a baby bird ,but not a wild one.
