Golgotha is where the crucifixion scene happened on the eve of the Passover (some translations of The Bible replace the word Passover with Easter).
Talmud - Sanhedrin 43a On the eve of the Passover Yeshu was hanged.
Passover (Easter) is the day on which the Israelites sacrifice their Lambs. It is in rememberance of their being freed from 430 years of Egyptian slavery.
Golgotha is only about 200 meters from where the Passover Lambs were slain and hung, on the north side of the Temple Altar. The Easter story also includes his resurrection, which happened probably less than two hunderd meters south of Golgotha in the Sepulcher of Joseph from Arimathea. (east of the Altar, which was always used for placing the ashes (his corpse) Lev. 1,16.
Now in the place where he was crucified there was a garden; and in the garden a new sepulchre, in which was never man yet laid. Joh 19,41
It took place at the tomb of Joseph of Arimathea, a tomb newly hewn out of rock in his garden not far from Golgotha. There Christ is recorded as having risen from the dead, and then aqppearing to Mary Magdalene in the garden.
Golgotha is not really a literary term. It is often related to suffering or to the redemption accomplished by Jesus in his death on Golgotha. Since the word Golgotha comes from the Hebrew word 'gulgoleth' and is 'gulgalta' in Aramaic, which mean 'skull', it is related also to death and the dead. To see a picture of Golgotha, the top part of a skull, refer to the link below.
if you mean what mountain was he crucified on that was Mount Golgotha
Because there is no mention of the bunny in the Easter story
Golgotha means 'Place of the skull'.
The story say it was on a hill called Calvary or Golgotha, just outside Jerusalem.
