Most likely it is the manufacturers initials.

** if the "SW" is on a ring then it could be the makers mark or it could refer to the stone if there is one.. more details about the ring would be needed.. usually this refers to a pearl.. meaning authentic Akoya Saltwater pearl.

The 14K is the Gold content and the S and S either stands for Sterling Silver or it is a Maker's Mark. It is difficult to determine exactly without actually looking at the piece.

Which fuse is for the lighter in a 1991 Mercury Topaz?

I would suggest first looking on the inside of the fuse box(s) cover, where it should show the location/purpose of each fuse. If not, reference the vehicles manual for the fuse that corelates to the lighter.

Would it be possible to build a ring station around earth?

Perhaps. The main problems to overcome would be: Such a ring would have to be enormous, where would the material come from, how can we get it off the ground. To orbit at the height of the ISS it would have to be spinning at 7.5 km/s (16,777mph). How can its speed be maintained and can any substance withstand the stresses. Also it wouldn't make sense to built it. The ring would have a length of 42,000km (26,000miles). What would we do with it?

What is p14k gold?

the PL probably means that it is gold plate as opposed to solid gold and the 14k is the quality of gold used (14k is not high quality). It's not worth as much as you thought. Many people believe that P and PL on gold indicates that it is plate. The P and PL are older terminology that was used to indicate exact or plumb Karat. A ring that is 13.5K can be listed as 14K gold but a ring that is 14KPl is exactly 14K gold or 58.33% gold.
