Well, It needs a lot. * A beginning, a middle, and an end * A subject * Rising actions * A conflict * Falling actions * A resolution * A setting(s) * Main character(s) * And some speech enhancers (simile, metophor, onomatopoeia, ect.)
A topic sentince that really reals you in. Maybe start with a question or random fact relating to your topic. Then it needs details and good, solid information to back it up. Then close it with a closer that (If your topic sentence started with a question) Answers the question. Or ties it all up. Then theres grammer and spelling. Oh and you need to make rough drafts and final copys of corse. So yeah. If your talking about an actually story or book then it's a little diffrent.
