Best Answer

Compost produces nutrient rich soil for use in gardens and landscapes. Mix it into the soil around the plants or use as mulch on top of the ground around plants. It contains nutrients for the plants so that less or no fertilizer is needed. This is an efficient way of Organic Gardening and does not harm the environment. A great way to recycle.
