As for your dream about being attacked by fire ants, it could mean a couple of things. The individual bites and stings of the ants could symbolize annoyances/problems you're dealing with in your life. Because ants are almost like a force of nature, being attacked by many of them could signify your feelings of helplessness in some matter you're currently contending with.
