They created the couple is all i know but they have a slight problem with bringing them together for a certain reason. My opinion on their take? Ya really shouldn't know about cuz its mean. But i say Sega or Sonic team are being idiots. Amy Rose and Sonic the Hedgehog are meant to be together. They would look so cute together. Sonamy! Sonamy! Sonamy!

They didn't want to make it canon. It was forced on the sonic team because sonamy is the majority of their fanbase and they want to keep their fans. Im saying that sonamy was never canon but forced on by fans on sega, just like amy forces her love on sonic. No having a crush on someone isn't bad, its the obsessiveness to sonic and her aggression towards other girls that makes fans hate her including me. Im not saying you should stop making sonamy art/fanfiction, but stop hatting sally for no reason. And as for the sonic is shy business, im here to say that being shy is really ooc (out of character) for sonic. If he liked amy, than he would tell her. The reason why he's so nervous around her is that he's afraid that she'll make a romantic advancement towards him, because he only likes her as a friend nothing more. For those who are saying sonamy is real, no offence but check your facts first

Hey everyone Im the person who wrote the previous statement. I've been into sega for a long time and i've gotten to know sonamy more and more, and all I can say is its unhealthy. Amy tries to manipulate sonic into liking her and before you say im wrong take a look at amys character. She tries to get him to love her in any way possible and that includes hypnosis. Anyways, i've researched amys character and its clear to me that she is a psychopath. For all the evidence you are gonna throw at me saying "No shes just in love" let me ask this would someone who loved another hit them or manipulate them? Didn't think so. Also for sonic x and boom, those are not canon so don't say that they are. Boom is an AU (alternate universe) and x is a different interpretation of the sonic adventure series. As for sonic unleashed when amy didn't reconize him, he was sad because he wasn't recognized by one of his closest friends. And for black knight he put his arm around him because he was told that the "lady of the lake" wasn't amy, thats the only reason he put his arm around her. I think the rest of the games can speak for themselves. Im not trying to discourage you from liking sonamy, but we are asking you to stop forcing this on everyone you know, especially us at sega.
