I think when selena says "diamond in the rough' she's implying that that person is just like everyone else, and has flaws. When she says "who are YOU to judge.." she probably is referring to anyone that would try and tell her she's wrong. And the rest of the song when she says "you" she is referring to everyone(or the listeners of the song). All together i think this song just means "everyone's perfect in their own way, and don't let anyone tell you different." And when she says "who says your the only one that's hurting, truat me thats the price of beauty," i think she just means that people go to extremes to make themselves what they consider "beauty," and everyone's going to be considered "imperfect" but since we live off looks its not their decision.
