German doctors performed a wide variety of experiments on prisoners at Auschwitz. SS doctors tested the efficacy of X-rays as a sterilization device by administering large doses to female prisoners. Prof. Dr. Carl Clauberg injected chemicals into women's uteruses in an effort to glue them shut. Bayer, then a subsidiary of IG Farben, bought prisoners to use as guinea pigs for testing new drugs.

Here's a list of experiments the Nazis and SS did in some concentration camps like Auschwitz:

-Experiments on twins

-Bone, muscle, and nerve transplantation experiments

-Head injury experiments

-Freezing experiments

-malaria experiments

-Mustard gas experiments

-Sulfonamide experiments

-Sea water experiments

-Sterilization experiments

-Experiments with poison

-Incendiary bomb experiments

-High altitude experiments

There were many different extreme experiments performed on the prisoners of the Holocaust camps. The Nazis would test how long a person could live in sub zero water. How long they would survive in extreme heat. Doctors would experiment with new treatment methods and drugs on these living people. They would also perform surgeries on these people. If you were an identical twin, a doctor might have sewed you two together. If your body was slightly deformed, the doctors would "fix" it. During these surgeries, the patient would be always awake. The list of horrors could go on forever. Some Jewish people were poisoned, burnt to death, shot, underfed and overworked, and some had to dig their own graves. This is not even a complete list of what went on in the concentration camps. I kow for sure that it was Hell on earth.

They where placed in cold water to see how long they could function/survive. The conditions where the same as a pilot who was shot down over the sea. They where also exposed to winter conditions to study the effects of wind and cold.

Doctors also took small children for testing. They would cut out the children's lymph glands (which would let them fight and infections or diseases) without using any numbing drugs. They would then inject them with different diseases and infections, such as tuberculosis bacteria, and watch them suffer. They would test reactions and then they would take pictures and samples of them. Dr. Mengele is known for injecting dye into people's brown eyes to try to turn them blue.

When they were done with the children they would inject them with morphine and hang them from hooks on a wall, and since most were too light to have their necks snapped, soldiers would use their weight to help snap them. It was truly horrible. Some other things that were done are: doctors cut out body parts to see how they would react (once again there was no numbing), and other torturous things.

many kinds; medical experiments included Mengele's pet projects concerning anatomy, behaviour and twins. Also there were many tests done to improve aircrew's survival in different simulated conditions and similar for sailors.

Some of the scientists included Dr. Sigmund Rasche who conducted freezing and hypothermia experiments and Dr. Josef Mengele who conducted experiments on twins which included dissecting them then comparing they're body parts. Could you name tortures used during the holocaust?

There were multiple accounts of torture during the Holocaust. (Since you said Holocaust not WWII, I'll stick to the genocide of the Jewish people rather than the entire WWII) There was starvation, abnormal and useless medical experiments, the rolls calls that lasted forever, standing cells in which the person was sentenced to hard labor during the day and was forced to stand at night. These are a few examples.
