Anorexics will generally eat foods with low amounts of calories and fats. Many will avoid dairy, eggs (specifically egg yolks in favor of the high-protein, no-fat egg whites), high-calorie sweets, and meat. Many will often watch carb intake, too. Food that are often considered "safe" or acceptable to eat are fruits, non-starchy vegetables, low-calories grains (cereals, breads, oatmeal, etc.), fat-free milk, and vegan versions of dairy (milk, ice cream, butter, etc. as they are often lower in calories and fat).
They don't eat ... They're anorexic.
People with anorexia do eat. They tend to just eat extremely limited quantities and often have a limited list of "approved" foods that they feel comfortable eating. When people with anorexia are in situations that require them to eat (family functions, holidays with family / friends, etc) they might participate in eating the food but may not finish it all or simply push the food around their plate, hide it in napkins, etc. When a person with anorexia cannot get away with these behaviors (hiding food or pushing it around) it is common for them to eat, while planning how they are going to compensate for that behavior (such as restricting even more the next day, purging, etc).
People with anorexia tend to eat as leats food as possible. Obviously, they can't eat nothing, but when they do eat, they eat things with the least calorie count. (lettuce, raw potatoe, water...etc)
Whatever is on your safe food list. My rule is that if its over 50 calories for one serving (and you only eat one serving) then you can't have it
if it begins with the letter "r" I can't have it
if it can be replaced with something else, like Diet Coke for coke, then i only have the replacement
anorexics SHOULD try to increase their caloric intake from less than 800 to between 800 and 1500 (this is if they're just now trying to recover)
If you are trying to be anorexic, that's pathetic and evil
If you ARE anorexic and are reading this answer to find out what you should eat now?
I've been trying to recover for a year and even though it's hard, protein-packed foods are the best thing to eat. I drink a lot of Ensure just to get my calories in for the day. But because anorexia usually ends up destroying muscles in the body, protein is the best way to repair and restore these. So like cheese and milk and soy products (meat if you're not a vegetarian), lots of whole grain foods, and eggs. I try to stick with those and its ok.
Anorexics tend to eat whatever foods they want to. Typically, they are low-calorie foods (fruits, veggies, low-fat dairy, grains, ect.) and low-calorie drinks (tea, coffeem water, "diet" drinks, ect.).
It is not clear if this is requesting foods that an anorexic would eat or foods that would be helpful in treating one with anorexia. If one is wanting to know what foods to eat there are things such as lettuce, spinach and egg whites. If one is attempting to beat anorexia then a diet should be provided by a physician. It would be important to have a very high calorie intake.
They eat food like, carrots and lettuce, generally staying close to low calories. Some drink Diet Coke, sugarless mints, chewing gum, etc.
They don't eat unless they are forced to be tube fed on a hospital bed
either very little or barely nothing and they excersise alot, or they eat alot and then vomit most of it up.
Lettuce, Foods with Refined Carbohydrates and also the occasional Yogurt
Anorexia is not caused by an inability to eat certain foods. It is an eating disorder in which sufferers chose not to eat.
No, anorexic people do not eat kitchen roll. I know this because i am anorexic and i haven't eaten kitchen roll since... forever!
nothing
For all people, eating foods high in natural fibers help to keep bowel movements regular.
You can eat a lot of foods that contain a lot of calories to add a bit more weight and you can also try to get out of your diet if you are in one and it would be best to see a doctor or someone who knows a lot about anorexic people.
Not exactly. Anorexics (eventually) won't eat almost anything, healthy or fattening ro somewhere - anywhere - in between that. There are plenty of healthy people out there who prefer to live a lifestyle that is a "healthy" one, free of sugars or processed or fatty foods. But they are not anorexic.
If your anorexic you should build up your food intake gradually. if your wondering how to be anorexic the easiest diet that's filling is bread(buttered) and water(pints) x
just eat.
Most of em Are Anorexic, Pathetic Low lifes, they eat little as possible and puke em out, disgusting huh?
A person is anorexic when they don't like or eat food. These people may- *refuse to eat, or eat small amounts *eat only "safe" foods-foods low in calories and fat *play with their food or cut it up to make it look eaten *excercise constantly *Have serious medical problems and starve to death *Think's that they may become obiese and frequently visit the doctor which costs ALOT
Yes. That is commonly known as an eating disorder called Orthorexia. Orthoexia is an obsession with eating healthy foods.
