This was the best toasting bread ever! I can still remember the flavor and texture. About 15-20 years ago my Mom and I wrote Pepperage Farms and it was a financial decision to stop producing this wonderful corn molasses bread. What a mistake! TRIED TO MAKE IT MYSELF BUT FAILLED. I hope they bring it back. It is sure to be a big hit. Hope they bring it back while the few of us left still remember it.
PLEASE BRING IT BACK.
I checked with the company years ago and found out it was simply a business decision to stop making it. I am sure with the interest in craft type breads it would be a winner again.
no
molasses
They have been discontinued.
Target carries them.
Pepperidge farms
Gingersnap cookies, baked beans, crumb cake, spice cookies, pumpkin bread, barbecue sauce, molasses cookies, bran muffins, molasses taffy, banana bread, glazed pork, date bars, molasses cake, molasses candy, carrot cake, molasses doughnuts, it can also be used to sweeten coffee, or put on pancakes and waffles. I have even seen lollypops made with it.
Discontinued. Here is a discussion on it. We need to tweet bomb Pepperidge Farms! http://www.yelp.com/topic/oakland-mint-brussels-discontinued---wtf
Because Peppridge farm hates America and kills puppies.
Dark molasses cookies can be found on Mackinac Island in upper Michigan :)
Yes, they make a few cookies and cakes that are sugar free and safe for diabetics.
I was told that they melted in hot weather and that's why they were discontinued. Recently discovered Trader Joe's Kona Coffee Creamy half-dipped Shortbread Cookies which are the closest I've found to my old favorite.
No, molasses is a thick syrup that is a by-product from processing sugar from sugar beets or sugarcane. Maple syrup is made from the sap of maple trees that has been boiled down. Both are quite tasty :-)
